Nothing Phone 3A and 3A Pro Announced with AI-Powered Essential Space and Camera Upgrades

Nothing has unveiled its latest smartphones, the Phone 3A and 3A Pro, with a focus on AI-assisted organization and improved hardware. The Essential Space, a new feature, allows users to store and index screenshots, voice memos, and images with an AI-powered organization system. The devices maintain Nothing’s signature translucent back design and introduce camera upgrades, with the 3A Pro featuring a 3x periscope telephoto lens and the 3A offering a 2x zoom. Both phones include a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, with AI assisting in organizing captured content.

Powered by the Snapdragon 7S Gen 3 chipset, the phones come with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, offering competitive specs for midrange devices. Running Android 15, they are promised three years of OS updates and six years of security patches. While the Glyph interface remains, Nothing is shifting towards software enhancements. The Essential Key, which facilitates AI-powered content organization, has a learning curve but proves useful for managing information.

The Nothing Phone 3A is available for pre-order from March 4 and ships on March 11, while the 3A Pro will be available from March 11 and ships starting March 25.
