Lenovo Unveils Solar-Powered Yoga PC Concept at MWC 2025

Lenovo has introduced the Yoga Solar PC, a concept laptop with an integrated solar panel in its lid, at Mobile World Congress 2025. This innovative device aims to reduce dependence on power cables by harnessing light from any source to charge its battery. The solar panel, comprising 84 Back Contact cells, boasts a conversion efficiency of over 24%, surpassing most silicon-based solar panels in consumer electronics. According to Lenovo, 20 minutes of direct sunlight exposure can power up to one hour of video playback. The laptop features a 14-inch OLED display, an Intel Lunar Lake processor, 32GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. It weighs approximately 2.29 pounds and is 15 millimeters thick. Lenovo has also introduced a Dynamic Solar Tracking system to optimize power generation.
