Flora Introduces an AI-Powered Visual Interface for Creative Professionals

Flora, a new startup founded by Weber Wong, aims to revolutionize creative work with an AI-powered ‘infinite canvas.’ Unlike typical AI models that are built by non-creatives for non-creatives, Flora is designed to enhance the workflow of professional artists and designers. The platform integrates with existing AI models, offering a visual interface where users can generate and manipulate text, images, and videos collaboratively. The goal is to bridge the gap between generative AI’s ease of use and traditional creative software’s control and precision. Initially, Flora is collaborating with renowned design agency Pentagram to refine its product based on professional feedback. The platform’s free version supports limited projects, while professional plans start at $16 per month. Backed by investors like A16Z Games Speedrun and Menlo Ventures, Flora aims to empower artists to explore new creative possibilities without succumbing to low-quality AI-generated content.
