Reddit Introduces New Features to Help Users Follow Subreddit Rules

Reddit is rolling out new features designed to assist users in ensuring their posts adhere to subreddit rules. The new ‘Rules Check’ feature will notify users in real time if their post might violate a subreddit’s guidelines by displaying a warning icon and pop-up message. This tool will first be tested on iOS and Android. Additionally, if a post is removed for breaking rules, the platform will suggest alternative subreddits where it might be more appropriate. The ‘Community Suggestions’ feature will recommend suitable subreddits for a post, while the ‘Clear Community Info’ tool will provide specific posting requirements before submission. Reddit is also introducing post insights, allowing users to view engagement metrics such as views, upvotes, and shares. These updates aim to improve the posting experience by reducing rule violations and enhancing content discoverability.
